Our surgeries range from Hernia Repair and Gallbladder Surgery to Appendix Removal and Colon Cancer. Dr Sugumaran has additional training and expertise in Foregut Surgery (Acid Reflux Procedures, Ulcer Disease, ect.) and Colorectal Surgery (Hemorrhoids, Polyps, ect.). He Also Performs both Upper (EGD) Endoscopy and Colonoscopy. He serves on the Committee for Acute Care Surgery for SAGES.

He has particular expertise in Cardiac Critical Care, Pulmonary Hypertension & Right Ventricular Failure, and Pre & Post-Transplant care. He is one of the only Intensivists in the area certified as an ECMO practitioner and has received expert training in Mechanical Circulatory Support and Advanced Organ Failure.
